Mit Borrás lives and works in Madrid and Berlin.
His work has international recognition within the realms of digital and multimedia art, for his unique way of approaching the relation between human, nature and technology, their purpose of evolution and his recognizable and new aesthetics. He has developed a complex body of work that encompasses visions of a post-human state of consciousness. Its center of focus is based on the interconnectivity between biodiversity and technological progress and the philosophical concept of adaptation as a method of surpassing categorial limits of existence.
The acclaimed Adaptasi Cycle consists of essayistic portraits in the form of video-based works, performances and multi-dimensional installations, embodying an augmented state of awareness. The work of Mit Borrás has been exhibited in major institutions in a large number of countries like Centre Pompidou, Paris, Art Dubai, UAE, Goethe Institute Los Angeles, Hara Museum Tokyo or Arebyte Gallery London among many others.
He has directed the production of digital art festivals, carried out numerous projects as an independent curator worldwide, co-directed Fünf Galerie in Berlin and worked as coordinator of cultural projects at the Instituto Cervantes in Germany.  Founder and director of the studio CAVVE specialized in digital and multimedia art and transhumanist studies with Rachel Lamot as Creative Director, Borrás work is represented by House of Chappaz gallery and he is member of Frontviews and Haunt Institution in Berlin.
