CAMILLE ROUZAUD

Camille Rouzaud (born 1986, Narbonne, France) lives and works in New York, USA. Their work has gained recognition both nationally and internationally, with several solo exhibitions at venues such as Swivel Gallery and Hunter East Harlem Gallery in New York, Gallerie LaPaix in Paris, and with LaSalita Project and Amor Fuego in San Juan, Puerto Rico. They have also participated in group shows at the Noguchi Museum in New York, TIMNBY at the Vogue Festival in Milan, and with The Academy of Design on Governors Island, New York, among many others.
Cam’s has also created commissioned artworks for clients such as Yves Saint Laurent and Berluti. Cam’s sculptural work delves into the emotional spectrum of memories, expressing freedom. This introspective engagement with play fosters an intimate experience that explores the joyful self, aiming to live harmoniously with past wounds.
Cam’s sculptures, vibrant and energetic, are composed of pieces from bicycles, motorcycles, soccer balls, cars, and other playful objects. These are found and welded together, inviting us to a space where we create our own rules.
